| MAJORANA
MAJORANA is a Germanium-76 based, neutrinoless double beta decay experiment located at the Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF) in South Dakota.
|
| CUORE CUORE (Cryogenic Underground Observatory for Rare Events) is a bolometric neutrinoless double beta decay experiment based on Tellurium-130 (in the from of TeO2 crystals). It is located near Assergi, Italy in the Laboratori Nationali del Gran Sasso (LNGS) underneath the mountain of Gran Sasso. |

| DM-ICE DM-ICE is a NaI based dark matter experiment to be located at the South Pole, to complement Northern Hemisphere claims of observed annual modulation of dark matter signals.
| | LBNE -- Long-Baseline Neutrino Experiment
|
| Nu Dot | | Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF) Located in Lead, SD, SURF is a deep underground laboratory in the former Homestake gold mine. The laboratory hosts nuclear and astroparticle physics experiments such as those exploring the properties of neutrinos or the detection of dark matter. The LBF has provided general counting services during the construction of the facility, ranging from geological samples to construction materials.

 | LUX (Large Underground Xenon)
Liquid Xenon TPC, direct dark matter detection (WIMP) experiment located at the Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF) in South Dakota. |
| Daya Bay Reactor neutrino oscillation experiment located at the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Plant in China. |
| Double Chooz
|
| SNO -- Sudbury Neutrino Observatory
Heavy water (D2O) Cherenkov detector used to study the properties of solar neutrinos. SNO is known for helping resolve the "solar neutrino problem." Located in the Creighton Mine in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. |

| KamLAND
The Kamioka Liquid-scintillator Anti-Neutrino Detector studied the properties of neutrinos including flavor oscillation and non-zero neutrino mass. It has since studied other aspects of solar neutrinos and geo-neutrinos. It is located in the Kamioka Mine in Japan. | | ... and others, large and small, yet to be listed! |
